What is long grain rice?

Long grain rice is a type of rice that is three to five times longer than it is wide.

It has a higher density per grain than other rices. In addition, it does not stick easily and due to its high amylose content it needs more time to cook.

Recommended method of use

2 parts water x 1 part rice. Time: 20 minutes approx.
