Whitener, stain remover and sanitiser for white and coloured laundry. Excellent for stronger washing in the washing machine, disinfecting nappies and washable nappies, on difficult stains such as fruit blood and sweat and for whitening and sanitising shower trays and washbasins. It comes from natural raw materials: sea salt and water.

Breaking down in water generates sodium carbonate: an oxygen-containing cleaning agent that is a gentle bleach.

How to use sodium percarbonate to get the most out of it

Instructions on how to bleach your clothes:

• Washing machine: Add 1 or 2 tablespoons of sodium percarbonate directly into the washing machine drum along with your usual detergent. Use hot water to activate the percarbonate (minimum 40°C, ideally 50-60°C). This temperature is necessary for the active oxygen to be released and do its job of whitening and disinfecting.
• Prewash or wash or rinse in hot water.
• Prewashing or soaking: For stubborn stains or very yellowish clothes, dissolve 1-2 tablespoons of sodium percarbonate in a bowl of hot water and let the clothes soak for 1-2 hours before washing as usual. This is especially useful for linen and bed linen.

Household cleaning with sodium percarbonate

• Surface cleaning: You can use a mixture of sodium percarbonate and hot water to clean and disinfect surfaces in the home, such as countertops, tile floors or bathrooms. Dissolve 1-2 tablespoons in 1 litre of hot water, apply to the surface and leave for a few minutes before rubbing and rinsing.
• Pot and pan cleaning: To remove stubborn stains on cookware, dissolve a tablespoon in hot water and leave the utensils to soak for a few hours before scrubbing.
