Anti-inflammatory

It is anti-inflammatory and relieves pain, believed to be due to the inhibition of nitric oxide synthase (iNOS) and cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2). A Chaga extract reduced oxidative stress in lymphocytes from patients with inflammatory bowel disease.

Antioxidants
