Description

La Finestra sul Cielo wholemeal spelt pizza bases are made with 100% wholemeal spelt flour from organic farming. They are pre-baked bases, ready for you to add your favourite toppings and enjoy a healthy, quick pizza at home.

  • Wholemeal spelt flour* (30%)
  • Spelt flour* (30%)
  • Water
  • Brewer's yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisiae)
  • Extra virgin olive oil*
  • Salt
  • Spelt sourdough*

Instructions for use

  1. Preheat the oven to 220°C.
  2. Add ingredients to taste on top of the base.
  3. Place the base directly on the oven rack.
  4. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes until crispy and the ingredients are cooked.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place. Once opened, close tightly and store in the refrigerator. Best consumed within 2-3 days.

Recipe: Mediterranean Pizza with Wholemeal Spelt Base

Ingredients:

  • 1 La Finestra sul Cielo wholemeal spelt pizza base
  • Natural tomato sauce
  • Grated mozzarella
  • Sliced black olives
  • Cherry tomatoes, halved
  • Fresh basil leaves
  • Extra virgin olive oil

Preparation:

  1. Preheat the oven to 220 °C.
  2. Spread the tomato sauce over the pizza base.
  3. Add the grated mozzarella.
  4. Distribute the olives and cherry tomatoes.
  5. Bake for 8-10 minutes until the cheese melts and the base is crispy.
  6. Garnish with fresh basil and drizzle with olive oil.
  7. Serve hot and enjoy.
