How to use

  1. Wash the rice before cooking to remove surface starch.
  2. Cook in water (1 part rice to 2 parts water) for 10-12 minutes.
  3. Drain and leave to stand, covered, for 5 minutes before serving.

Recipe: Basmati rice with sautéed vegetables

Ingredients (2 people):

  • 150 g Biocop organic basmati rice
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 red pepper
  • 1 small onion
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh chopped parsley

Preparation:

  1. Cook the rice according to the instructions and set aside.
  2. Cut the carrot, pepper and onion into strips or small cubes.
  3. Sauté the vegetables in oil until tender but still crisp.
  4. Mix the vegetables with the cooked rice.
  5. Season with salt and pepper and add chopped parsley before serving.
