Place the baby on a clean, safe surface. Removing the used nappy: Slide the used nappy down or tear the sides to remove it carefully. Clean the nappy area with soft wet wipes or warm water and cotton wool. Make sure to dry the skin completely before putting on a new nappy. Putting on the clean nappy: Unfold the new nappy and gently slide it up the baby’s legs to the waist, ensuring the leak guards are facing outwards. Adjust the nappy so it fits snugly but comfortably, without being too tight. Checking: Check that the nappy is properly fitted and that there are no creases or folds that might cause discomfort.
